Contribution of Youth towards Unified and Integrated India

    

Well , it is rightly said ,    

“If our youth arise and act they have the strength and dynamism to generate a   huge transformation in the society".

21st Century youth is armed with the power of latest technology , knowledge and love of the nation . The youth have begin to realize our ethical obligations to be good stewards of the country and responsible trustees of the legacy to future generations.Though development is the best contraceptive but development itself may not be possible without the efforts of present youngsters. Present and future of the nation is highly dependent on optimization Indian youth power .

With 356 million 10-24 year-olds, India has the world's largest youth population .

Youth of our country play a critical role in every major sector of global economy from manufacturing processes to Information Technology and Services.India today in 2015 has emerged out as one of the fastest growing economies in the world . Huge amount of investment is brought every year from foreign countries including super power nations such as Germany , Russia , USA and China . MNCs have realized that India is the best place in the world to expand their markets and triple their profits .Hats off to the hard work of Indian youth population .

The two major components required to build a strong nation are Unity and Economy and most importantly the realization of the fact that both are not independent quantities . Indian Youth is the bridge between the two which is holding them together since the independence of India in 1947 . Our first Prime Minister , Jawaharlal Nehru was the first one to realize the potential of youth , He loved children as he saw in them the future of modern India . Our great leaders Swami Vivekananda ,Mahatma Gandhi , Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and current prime minister Narendra Modi have acknowledged that stability of a unified and integrated India would have been impossible without the efforts and hard work of youth power .

Ever since the freedom youth have been actively involved in various social and activist movement in the country which have brought many positive impacts in the lives of common citizens . For instance The anti corruption movement led by Anna Hazare caused a major political reform in the country , Strikes after the Delhi gang rape case enforced strict policies and laws for women security and empowerment, The Movement for right to Information act proved to be a game changer in reducing corruption levels , etc . The success could not have been achieved without the cooperation of young India . This indeed shows that the voice of youth holds the potential to bring drastic changes in the society and the ideologies of people .

Now since it is clear from the above picture that a unified nation is built by the young generation of nation , we must consider the unfortunate increase in criminal activities involving young people in India in the recent years . This is a red alert which we can't afford to ignore and must be controlled before we lose control over the situation . If you look back in the modern history , you'll find that all terrorist association have targeted and tried to take control over the minds of young people for their destructive evil missions . A growing economy as India must give a deep thought about such concerns and take strict measures to keep clear from such risks. Moreover Laws are never respected nor enforced in India for instance the constitution says that casteism untouchability and bonded labour shall be abolished but they flourish shamelessly even after 44 years of operation of constitution . As a consequence we lose fairly large population of potentially available youth.

Swami Vivekananda taught the youth to have self confidence , dedication and teamwork . His teachings did and always will motivate and encourage the youth of India and I have strong hope that one day India will emerge out as a developed country and align itself in the queue of World superpowers .

When united is our youth,

Every hurdle, every obstacle , every path becomes smooth.
